Youth Becoming Engaged, Inc. is more than a program—it’s a bridge between young people and the communities that surround them. As a trusted public-safety partner, we collaborate with law enforcement, schools, hospitals, and social service organizations to create a unified support system where youth feel seen, heard, and empowered.

 

At the heart of our work is connection. We build meaningful relationships with young people, meeting them where they are and guiding them toward where they want to go. Through mentorship, education, and consistent support, we help youth stay rooted in their communities while discovering their own strength and voice.

 

Together with our partners, we create spaces for real conversations and hands-on learning—exploring topics like mental health, self-advocacy, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, interdependence, and harm reduction. These pillars form the foundation of what it truly means to be “ENGAGED.”

 

Our program welcome male youth participants ages 13-18. We help see our young men through their teenage years through High School, guiding participants through three transformative phases. Along the way, youth engage in one-on-one and small-group boxing and conditioning sessions, essential life skills, culinary skills, and trauma-informed coaching and case management—building not only physical resilience, but confidence, discipline, and a renewed sense of purpose.
